I suppose most people would have gone to the Big Day Out to see Bjork or Rage Against the Machine or Billy Bragg or any number of other fine musicators. One of my mates went so that he could dress up as a cardboard dinosaur:
He also recently built a Tardis (exterior only) and once made and operated a Dalek for a comedy stage show then placed a personal contact ad for it in the local paper.
